A bunch of brooms now sells for N300 and N500 each, depending on the size as against N150 and N200 before the president's visit.

Traders, especially broom sellers in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, say they are making brisk businesses following the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.

Some of the traders, who spoke with NAN on Thursday, said the visit was a welcome development for the state and their business. “The prices have not hiked to the detriment of the presidential visit. We sell to make little gain and have a livelihood.
