A five-storey building at Gbajumo Street, Balogun on Lagos Island has been razed by fire. The fire reportedly started at midnight on Thursday. No life was lost in the incident.

A five-storey building at Gbajumo Street, Balogun on Lagos Island has been razed by fire.Margaret Adeseye, director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, said the fire started from the second floor of the building and spread to the other parts.

“Two fire crews from the Ebute Elefun and Oniru were immediately mobilised to the scene while Alausa had since joined them to douse the raging fire, which was met well alight on arrival.
