Also in 2009, current vendor Steve Walsh and his family took over the property from Mr Atkinson, where they’ve enjoyed a number of big celebrations, family memories and tranquil mornings on the deck. Mr Walsh said he felt “very spoiled” in terms of the location and house design, and was feeling bittersweet about his impending move to downsize.
Mr Walsh added his wife had even spotted a whale on one occasion, in addition to their regular sightings of owls and lorikeets from a backyard gumtree that could be “seen from miles away”.The house has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, including a luxe ensuite and terrace adjoining the main bedroom.
