KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 — Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar has urged employers in the high technology industry to offer better wages for the sake of retaining employees.

“Jobseekers who are looking for employment in this industry are expecting a higher salary, although salaries are determined by the market. “If employers do not offer increment, we will lose skilled workers to other countries as they seek higher wages on par with their education and qualifications,” Sivakumar told a press conference here at the Parliament building today.

sometimes it appears more humble to figure out why these people are not better paid. quantity, quality/training, work ethics, administrative costs, lack of high tech ecosystem, etc.......
