House Republicans next week will call up a bill to kick federal officials out of the business of policing free speech after the Twitter Files showed heavy involvement.

James Comer, R-Ky., will get a vote in the House next week.," Comer said."We also know that one of the witnesses before us today participated in an Aspen Institute exercise in September 2020 on a potential hack-and-dump operation related to Hunter Biden – other big tech companies and reporters who attended as well.

"It is inappropriate and dangerous for the federal government to decide what lawful speech is allowed on a private sector platform," Comer said this week."The federal government should not be able to decide what lawful speech is allowed — we have the First Amendment for a very good reason."
