Limited recently allocated 5,000 metric tonnes of diesel each to about nine oil marketers at N485 per litre.Some top management staff of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited have been accused of extortion and bribery to the tune of $100,000 from each of the oil marketers before allocating diesel cargoes to them.

“This has been going on for years. Sahara Reporters can do further investigation by asking other petroleum marketers as well to ascertain my claim. He said, “The allegations are completely false. Only applicants that have PMS outlets are given allocation of AGO . No outlet, no AGO allocation. Meanwhile, SaharaReporters recently reported how the Ogun State government dragged NNPC Limited to court over unpaid tax liabilities running into N9 billion.
