Charlene McKenna says it helps that her husband is also an actor because they understand the demands of the industry.
"The downside is it’s hard to understand our hours, the demand and why you can never really, fully switch off. Even though they both have demanding schedules, they thankfully were able to spend a lot of time together as newlyweds. "We have a house in Monaghan. When we’re there one of the biggest perks is I get to spend time with my family. I love to travel for work but at the same time I’m a real home bird."
