An 1840s vintage plantation in Southwest Alabama is now on the real estate market for the first time in 50 years.

The Wilson-Finlay house, in Gainestown in Clarke County, currently has an asking price of $1.2 million.Built around 1846, the two-story Greek Revival home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and is set on 223 acres of property.

Included in the sale is the old Gainestown schoolhouse, built in 1919 and used until the 1950′s.
