We started a doctor of business administration program for executives who want to bring a scientific and research-based approach to a big challenge in their organization. The first four DBA graduates crossed the convocation stage last week.

And earlier this year, we opened a new $90-million building, Mathison Hall, to meet this growing demand for the skills, knowledge and connection of a business degree. I am incredibly proud of our team, the culture we have built and the legacy we’ve achieved together.Article content Alberta faces some significant challenges. The transition to a new low-carbon energy future is global, and we must be thoughtful in finding effective ways to respond. Technological change with artificial intelligence and big data is changing how we do business here and everywhere. Every challenge is an opportunity, and business school graduates are central to expanding our options to turn challenges into opportunities.
