The Business Post has won three category awards and three merits at the Law Society of Ireland’s Justice Media Awards.
Daniel Murray won the Sunday journalism category for his investigative feature on Why the WHO is reviewing Ireland’s cancer screening and what’s at stake. The judges described it as “a powerful series of reports that was true public interest journalism. It provided comprehensive reporting into the cancer screening process and litigation.”
Legal affairs correspondent Catherine Sanz won the podcast category alongside Neville Cox and Carolyn Goulden for the Business Post Law on Trial podcast’s interview with Caoilfhionn Gallagher KC on defending pro-democracy campaigners around the world.
