The Irish Planning Institute says that a lack of talent is hindering the abilities of both the public and private sector

The planning sector is facing significant challenges in attracting and retaining talent according to new research by the Irish Planning Institute, while ongoing issues at the state’s planning authority are “exacerbating the housing crisis... undermining the function, role, and public perception of the planning profession”.
