“Sometimes when we have a tragedy like this it could very well strengthen the community,” Ingram said. “I’m liking the resiliency of these people. They didn’t let this deter them.”

Market vendors, for the most part, have said they all hold individual insurance policies, some of which cover loss of business as well as equipment.A handful of them are setting up pop-ups in the market’s courtyard in tandem with operating hours at the market’s stone building, which was not damaged in the fire.
