The Quezon City government has launched the “StartUp QC Business Plan Competition” to allow students in the city to enhance their skills and gain knowledge in entrepreneurship.

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte said the competition aims to foster an innovative culture among the youth, enable them to broaden their perspectives, and open up opportunities for them to reach their full potential.

According to the city government, the program is open to all students of legal age residing in Quezon City, who are enrolled at any school, college, or university in the country. Qualified students will undergo a cadetship training sessions design thinking, cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and how to create a pitch deck conducted by startup industry experts and educators before they will be able to present their business ideas.
