Mark Cuban’s net worth is estimated at more than $5 billion. It could have been even higher, if he hadn’t passed on investing in Uber in 2009, he said.

Even billionaires kick themselves for passing on investment opportunities that turned out to be incredibly lucrative. In Mark Cuban's case, he regrets not investing in Uber. He was offered the chance to invest at a $10 million valuation by Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick in 2009, and turned it down — because he thought the ridesharing company wasn't worth that much, he said on a recent episode of comedian Kevin Hart's Peacock talk show""Just think: If I would've given him $250,000 on a [$10 million] valuation, it'd be billions," Cuban said.
