U.K. stocks extend winning streak for second session

Among FTSE 100 constituents, specialty retail company D C C P L C DCC, +2.29% saw the largest increase Friday, as shares rallied 2.29%.

Barratt Developments PLC BDEV, +2.06%, a residential building construction company, and investment advisors business 3i Group PLC III, +1.81% rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks increased 2.06% and 1.81%, respectively. Shares of wired telecommunications services firm BT Group PLC BT.A, -1.47% and industrial/office reits company SEGRO PLC SGRO, -1.36% shed 1.47% and 1.36%, respectively.

The pound was down 0.14% against dollar GBPUSD, -0.11% at $1.2391 and 0.44% against the euro GBPEUR, -0.45% at €1.1608.
