The provincial government is investing more than $700,000 into farming infrastructure here. The money is going towards dairy and livestock producers through a provincial agrifoods support program.
It includes funding for pasture development and bringing in new livestock. The province says the program aims to increase local food self-sufficiency and help farmers and producers adapt to climate change.
