The Minister of Finance, Olawale Edun, has lamented that Nigeria doesn't have enough revenue for critical infrastructure and social services crucial to Nigerians amid the economic hardship. Edun disclosed this in Abuja on a podcast hosted by Bruit Costaud in collaboration with Ballard Partners of USA. However, he assured Nigerians that under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the country has revamped multiple revenue streams to address emerging economic challenges.
'The government doesn't have enough revenue for critical infrastructure and social services, which are crucial to Nigerians now,' he said. According to him, Tinubu will deploy the strategy he used to revive the Lagos economy as governor. 'If you know about Mr President's antecedent, the first thing he did in Lagos as governor was to get hold of the revenue. 'What he did was to deploy digitisation.
