Falling mineral prices and disruption to production at mine see earnings come in one quarter below those for last year

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation last year came to $220.3 million, the company said on Wednesday, which it said was its “second-strongest” ever result – but 26 per cent below the out-turn for 2022, due to a decline in mineral prices. However, ilmenite prices have since come back.
