AW Lymn, an award-winning funeral business, is constructing six new apartments in Clifton. The company, known for managing residential flats across Nottinghamshire, was granted planning permission for a purpose-built funeral home with commercial space and residential flats on Clifton's high street. With a long-standing presence in the community, AW Lymn has been supporting the bereaved for over a century.

An award-winning funeral business, which owns and manages many residential flats across Nottinghamshire, is building six more new apartments to rent in Clifton. AW Lymn was given planning permission for a new purpose-built funeral home with additional commercial space and residential flats on Clifton's high street last year.

With 27 funeral homes across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, the fifth-generation family business has been a pillar in the local community, renowned for supporting the bereaved in the region for more than 115 years. Pete Clarson, commercial director at AW Lymn said that people are often unaware the company has acquired and manages residential accommodation on the floors above the majority of its funeral homes – because the business, due to the nature of its work, can only operate efficiently on the ground floo
