Sunday is officially the start of Small Business Week and businesses around the Susquehanna Valley are ready to celebrate.The US Small Business Administration reported that in 2022, across Pennsylvania, there were 1.6 million small businesses making up 99.6% of all state businesses.The administration also reports 2.6 million people were working at a small business in Pennsylvania. That accounts for just under half of the state’s entire workforce.

Small Business Optimism Declines to Lowest Level in a DecadeAccording to a new report from the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), small business optimism declined in March to its lowest level in more than a decade.
