A representative of a California-based chemical manufacturer stood before a federal judge Friday and entered a guilty plea to a criminal charge on behalf of the corporation.

AMVAC admitted that it did not notify its transporter that the containers held hazardous waste. It also failed to create a hazardous waste manifest as required by law.
