The State alleges Modack used the company to launder money for crimes related to 124 charges he faces along with 14 other co-accused.

CAPE TOWN - Empire Investment Cars a company owned by one of alleged underworld crime bosses, Nafiz Modack's co-accused has come under the spotlight on Monday in the Western Cape High Court.

Du Plessis told the court financial records show Mukudam bought Empire Investment Cars from Yaseen Modack in May 2019 but the company was only registered in his name a year later in May 2020.
