As the volume of plastic waste continues to surge globally, the Philippines faces a mounting crisis that threatens both environmental health and sustainability objectives. The proliferation of single-use plastics and inadequate waste management systems have exacerbated this issue, necessitating a comprehensive approach to mitigate its impact.

“Snack at the right time,” said Caitlin Nina Punzalan, corporate and government affairs lead at Mondelez International.
