Berkley’s Market is closing down two of its stores as it consolidates for the future. It still has two stores in Dallas.

The local chain of shops that feature prepared foods and groceries said a new location will improve the business’ reach.The affected stores are in downtown Dallas and on West Davis Street in Oak Cliff, according to Zachary Porter, co-owner at the company. That leaves two sites open with one in the Arts District on Ross Avenue and“Berkley’s Market currently has some exciting new locations in the works,” Porter said in an emailed statement.

“I think we were able to play a roll in the emergence of those neighborhoods years ago, but sales there just aren’t as strong as elsewhere for us,” Porter said. “So, this was an important move for the future of our small business.”Berkley’s features neighborhood spots that provide coffee bars, prepared foods and groceries, along with beer and wine. It expects to announce the new location for the consolidated site from the two stores soon and will have more plans to follow. “We’re excited to share more news soon and genuinely thank our loyal staff, all our customers, and future Berkley’s Market patrons,” Porter said.Givenchy launched a stand-alone store that covers more than 5,600 square feet at NorthPark Center, the brand’s tenth freestanding location in the Americas.Yogurtland – with sites around the U.S.
