Microsoft highlights the success of its AI-powered Copilot feature in Edge, citing billions of chats and trillions of characters translated. However, the browser's market share remains stagnant, barely inching past 12% compared to Chrome's dominance.

Microsoft has published a year in review for its Edge browser and talked up AI-powered chats while lightly skipping over the software's stagnating market share.. There had been over 10 billion AI-powered chats with Copilot from inside the Edge browser window . Some 38 trillion characters had been auto-translated.
