How about just making it cheaper for the consumer 🤷‍♀️

Thoughts…Big companies and governments…working together

Oil companies actually asking to be taxed more. What are the government doing? Nothing.

Or just sell it on to the consumer at a fairer price which allows a profit for the oil companies whilst offering better value for money to the purchaser. Surely this isn’t rocket science Shell_UKLtd ……

RishiSunak UKgovcomms THEY’RE OUTRIGHT ASKING TO BE TAXED. Don’t cut services, tax these companies!!! It’s staring you right in the face ffs

mrjamesob they’re literally asking to be taxed!!

Shell get tax relief on 'investment' and claim to not make profits in the UK. They haven't paid tax in UK since 2018. Last year, in UK, they got a tax CREDIT of $131M. They have spent $18B on share buybacks this year. That's ON TOP of 15% inc in dividends AND a windfall dividend.

Which they STILL won't pay because they get tax relief on 'investment' and claim to not make profits in the UK. They haven't paid tax in UK since 2018. Last year, in UK, they got a tax CREDIT of $131M.

Shell_UKLtd you do realise you can pay more tax if you want to without intervention from the government. 🤷🏿

Don't worry Ben, your moneys safe with these wankers

It was 9.5 billion this morning

So basically, they were racketeering…! Admitting it after the fact changes nothing.

Agreed. Just need the govt to get its act together

It`s a joke, fuel prices ( are now on the back burner) pun intended, nobody is talking about the price, it`s now gone back up and the public are too worried about other things to see these greedy companies chrge whatever they like. Total (no pun) disgrace. Government dont care.

Even shell themselves accept there may need to be windfall taxes...

No chance of that to many MPs have shares in shell

This is why our system is completely screwed. Shell making obscene profits out of those who can’t really afford their bills and passing this on to their shareholders. No justification for this whatsoever. The Govt should claw back the monies and give it to those in need.
