Research commissioned by financial services company Sanlam, in which more than 5 000 South Africans were interviewed, found that more than half would advise their young selves to think of money as an asset to grow, rather than a luxury to spend.

This research would obviously be biased! sanlam need people to invest… they need to create the next market! Shareholders need to be kept happy!

Ah but what was the financial situation of their young selves? Also pretty convenient for a company that wants you to not spend money and put it in their war chest in the market, to come up with a research that, well asks you to do just that. Not biased at all... Lol
