But Paradis points to past USDA reports on the controversy including one that stated IS EG Halal"has no preexisting relationship with the US beef industry or Islamic organizations.
The fund was set up to hep pay attorney fees in connection with a federal criminal investigation in connection with a Weehawken meat company that won an exclusive contract with the government of Egypt.
