AIB Life, a joint venture business between AIB and Canadian firm Great-West Lifeco, officially launched on Tuesday with both partners injecting €250 million into the new entity.

The new business, which will offer life protection, pension and investment products to the Irish market, will create 100 new jobs across a range of roles, including customer service, technology, finance, compliance, risk and actuary.
