Mxolise Benedict Mona , the sole director of the company called “Black Brothers Productions” was arrested by the Hawks’ Nelspruit based Serious Commercial Crime investigation team on Thursday, 02 November 2023 for fraud, theft or alternatively contravening the provisions of section 235 and of the Tax Administrations Act, Act 28 of 2011.
It is alleged that during February 2019, the accused submitted fraudulent tax returns to the South African Revenue Service, claiming undue funds, where payments were made into the above mentioned business bank accounts, prejudicing the revenue service and causing an actual loss of R 464 550.28
