The immediate activation and investigation by a multi discipline task team consisting of Crime Intelligence, Provincial Detectives and Flying Squad resulted in the arrest of three suspects aged 31, 34 and 39 for business robbery. The members also searched the vehicle and found suspected stolen property belonging to complainant whose vehicle was stolen the same day in Goodwood. Another charge of possession of stolen property was registered.

The members also visited the address of one of the arrested suspects in Table View where a 21-year-old female was found, and upon searching the flat 3449 mandrax tablets were found in a suitcase and confiscated. The female was arrested for possession of dealing in drugs and detained at Table View SAPS for further investigation. The estimated street value of the drugs is R150 000-00.
