The market appears to be ‘remarkably bored’ by the election, according to Stephen Koukoulas, with the ASX coming close to hitting an 11-year high.

The Managing Director at Market Economics believes it shows the market is ‘focussing on other things’, such as

the global economy, local profitability, and what the Reserve Bank will do with interest rates in the next few months.
