The Austin Police Department is investigating a homicide after a person was fatally stabbed in south Austin Wednesday night.
The investigation is taking place near La Familia Market in the 7800 block of South 1st Street near Dittmar Road.At the media briefing, an APD Public Information officer stated that at approximately 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, Austin 9-1-1 received multiple calls regarding a man stabbing another man at the above location.
