Muar OCPD Asst Comm Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz reported that the victim, a doctor, attended an online seminar via Google Meet on May 24 last year, where she was introduced to several investment packages.
"Enticed by the high returns, the victim made a total payment of RM138,000 to a company account between July 4 and July 6, 2023," he said in a statement on Monday .The situation worsened when the alleged scammer informed her that the company had incurred losses and could no longer pay the promised dividends.
