The Orchard in Penrith has appointed administrators following a tough period of trade, citing 'challenging market conditions' and less customer spending. 'This decision comes after a period of challenging market conditions, including rising operational costs, changing consumer behaviour, and reduced discretionary spending, which have all contributed to an unsustainable financial position,' Beattie said.'Whilst the administration is in its infancy, I intend to trade the company's business on a 'business-as-usual' basis.'Company director Fedlallah Hallini described the decision to appoint administrators as an 'incredibly difficult one'. 'Whilst this is a challenging time, we remain committed to exploring all options to ensure the future of the business,' he said.
