Small businesses in Shropshire are encouraged to apply for support grants of up to £10,000 before the scheme closes on January 10. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) allocated over £12 million to Shropshire, funding initiatives that improve local pride and life chances. The Small Business Grant Scheme provides up to 50% funding for new equipment or premises improvements for businesses with 1-49 employees. Over 63 Shropshire businesses have already received funding, highlighting the significant support available.

Over £12 million has been allocated to Shropshire from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund , which the last government created with £2.6 billion to invest in initiatives that improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK. This includes the UKSPF Small Business Grant Scheme in Shropshire. Applicants will need to demonstrate how the grant will help them create new employment opportunities, or develop new products, processes, or services within their business.
