Ms. Shajeetha Noorul Ameen, a single mother and logistics business owner, balances her responsibilities with her passion for beauty pageants. She represented Singapore at the Mrs. Supranational 2024 pageant, placing third, and previously won Mrs. Singapore International Global in 2023. Despite facing concerns over safety due to civil unrest in Myanmar, she chose to represent her country, using the platform to promote Singapore's hospitality and multicultural identity.

In between balancing the responsibilities of a single mother raising a 10-year-old daughter and a logistics business owner, Ms Shajeetha Noorul Ameen makes time to chase her dreams of joining beauty pageants.

“Due to the ongoing civil unrest in Myanmar, many of my relatives advised me not to go,” Ms Shajeetha told Tamil Murasu. “Many Indian women feel bound by societal expectations of focusing only on work, home and children," she explained.
