Mamelodi Sundowns have taken control in their CAF Champions League second round tie after thrashing Cote d’Or of the Seychelles 5-nil on the road, in the first leg. Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, used a second-string squad in this encounter with the likes of goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse, Motjeka Madisha, Tiyani Mabunda and Lyle Lakay in the starting line-up.Mabunda scored the first goal for Sundowns, with Wayne Arendse, and Lakay also on the score sheet.
