As innovative measures and processes were created to make the city one of the country’s preferred business destinations, Belmonte issued Executive Order 39-2019 forming the Ease of Doing Business and Automation Task Force.
The City Administrator will chair the task force, with the heads of the Business Permits and Licensing Department and Department of the Building Official as vice-chairpersons. Under the Executive Order, the task force is also responsible in unifying application forms from all involved offices into a single document.An online service should be accessible under a single website and if transacting business personally, the process should only be at a single location, the EO mandated.
