Michael Kors is buying Versace in a $2.12 billion deal. The companies said Tuesday that changes are in the works, including opening roughly 100 Versace stores, doubling down on shoes and accessories, and building up online shopping.

They SHOULD be terrified. This just depreciated the value of a Versace item from haute to mall rat. Half the allure and price justifier of luxury is quality; but the OTHER half is strip-mall unattainability

Who cares? Do you see the woman in the picture? It looks like a gorilla kept punching her in the lips. If that's Versace fashions, then I say burn it to the ground.

Well won’t be buying Versace anymore and my son is named Gianni. This is disturbing to hear. What a great legend with such great history washed away. So sad to hear this. Hopefully they back out of the deal last minute.
