Veteran airline investor Bill Franke says travelers will return to the skies when they're confident they won't get sick when they fly.

Bill Franke's Indigo Partners owns Frontier and has major stakes in three other ultra-low-cost airlines.

Franke says temperature checks are among measures that could make passengers feel safe to return to the skies. "I have never seen anything like this in the industry or industry in general," Franke said in an interview. It will be interesting to see if the gains by Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, and web conferencing technologies come at the long-term expensive of airline business class travel, when we get to new normal.

Well cruse lines are going to be a thing of the past. What senior in their right mind would want to take one after what we have all wittiness. Not me I'll stay home.

I would fly again if they re-configured the seats 6 ft apart.
