SINGAPORE — Shares in Asia-Pacific looked set for a mixed start on Thursday, after the Dow Jones Industrial Average saw itsFutures pointed to a lower open for Japanese stocks. The Nikkei futures contract in Chicago was at 28,850 while its counterpart in Osaka was at 28,830. That compared against theMeanwhile, shares in Australia appeared poised to open little changed.
