With a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, future professionals have an opportunity to learn and venture into careers with a specialism in forensic accounting, taxation, forex and investments, internal audit, e-business, banking and finance, investment and risk management, actuarial studies and FinTech.
The IIA programme acknowledges universities teaching internal auditing as a standalone internal audit course such as Principles of Internal Auditing or Operational Auditing. A major advantage is that they need to only complete three exams — operational level, management level and strategic level — to obtain the CIMA professional qualification.
