Last September marked the 10th anniversary of Salsa El Gallo's opening, and Lopez said they hope to expand even more in 2022. Before making it onto H-E-B shelves, Lopez said they started the company operating out of a garage and would go door to door to small business across the Rio Grande Valley, asking to have their products put on the shelves.
