Michigan-based Petoskey Plastics is expanding to McKinney with a $30 million manufacturing facility.

is expanding to McKinney and will invest $30 million in a new manufacturing facility.

The new operations will be located at 2050 Couch Drive, most recently a warehouse and office space for home furnishing company Aidan Gray Living. Expansion of the facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of the summer, and will include nine silos.Petoskey Plastics Chairman and CEO Paul Keiswetter said in a news release

The move will aid the company, which was pushed “over capacity” during the pandemic, the news release said. There has been high demand for its blown film products including trash bags, construction sheeting and vehicle seat covers. The facility will also bring the company closer to raw material suppliers in the Gulf and West Coast customers, according to the release.
