Immutable’s own– used to trade assets in games such as Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians – has itself plummeted from a price of $13.31 last November to around $1.15 now.
“I think that when we were having a look at the macro conditions, it looked like a really good time to raise and with that, we’ve been able to get enough runway to operate for many, many, many years without needing to do another raise,” Mr Ferguson said. The company’s chief people office Katherine Rau said the company was looking to hire globally, without introducing too much timezone complexity or pay disparity into its operation. She said signing up to WeWork’s All Access monthly subscription plan meant it could offer these employees a physical location to work together in more than 700 locations.
WeWork has been a company in decline since its catastrophic attempt to go public in 2019 saw its valuation fall from $US47 billion to $US10 billion.
