One of the fastest-growing restaurant chains in the country is looking to make Phoenix part of its growth.
The first location is in Gilbert at 1567 N. Cooper Road in a former Burger King location. The 3,200-square-foot restaurant has a drive-thru and will be open to midnight on the weekends. Anderson said the franchise group that owns the Gilbert location is working to open at least nine more in the East Valley, and another franchise group is looking to open 10 to 12 Dave’s Hot Chicken locations of their own in the north and west areas of the Valley. Anderson said there is also a Flagstaff location in the works and another group will be opening stores in Tucson.
