He said her 25 years of experience leading global companies and working with public and private boards is also invaluable.
"While the Board sees the future of Xero’s growth coming from the northern hemisphere [...] it was also important we hired an executive who had worked with and understood doing business in the southern hemisphere," Thodey said.
