Hunter Biden's 'suspicious' Chinese business deals to be investigated by House Republicans

A core focus of that endeavor will be Biden's work with Chinese government-tied Harves Group and particularly his ties with the firm's president, Francis"Fran" Person, who worked in the Obama administration from 2009 to 2014, Fox News reported.

At one point, Person invited Hunter Biden on a trip to China, but the first son did not appear to take him up on that offer, Fox News reported. Hunter Biden and his business partner Eric Schwerin also helped Person vie for Congress for the Democratic nod to oust Rep. Mick Mulvaney, but Person ultimately lost the race. Then-Vice President Joe Biden attended a fundraiser for Person for that contest in 2016, according to the report.
