Mayo Clinic presence in downtown Jacksonville is on the horizon. On April 26, the city council unanimously approved the hospital’s plan to occupy a 3,072-square-foot ground floor suite in the city’s Ed Ball Building located at 214 N. Hogan St.. “One thing we're focused on with cancer care strategy are ways to better detect the potential for cancer before it gets to a point where it needs to be treated in a more significant way,” said Thielen.
